In order to run the Marlow Half Marathon safely, we have to have (a) a Professional Traffic Management company overseeing all Road Closures, and (b) a number of Lantra trained marshalls that are aware of the safety rules around road and traffic management.

As such, we bring in a professional organisation to run a training course providing a Lantra Traffic Management qualification for our members - we run this course once a year ahead of the Half Marathon.

The qualification gives 5 years coverage and really helps us in our application to Bucks Council in the safe running of this event.

The course is run at Marlow Sports Club, from 10:00 to 14:00.

We will provide free drinks and snacks AND a Marlow Half Marathon Goodie Bag for everyone that attends (and completes!) the course!!
