  • Training from Marlow Sports Club
    Group runs are limited to 15 members per Run Leader and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Options are below and will be confirmed on the night from our Run Leaders. All sessions start at MSC at 19:00, unless otherwise stated.

    Wearing high-visibility clothing and using head torches is compulsory.

    Easy Striders (ES)
    - No stress pace for all | 3 to 4 miles | 11:30 to 12:00+ min/mi 

    Easy Plus Striders (ES+)
    - Improvers group | 4 to 5 miles | 10:30 to 11:15 min/mi

    Breezy Striders (BS)
    - Chit-chat intermediate group | 6 miles | 9:30 to 10:15 min/mi

    Breezy Plus Striders (BS+)
    - Bridging the gap to Speedy Striders | 6-7 miles | 8:30 to 9:15 min/mi

    Speedy Striders (SS)
    - Chasing that high speed | 6-7 miles | 8min/mi or below

    Begintervals
    - Interval sessions suitable for all. They are designed primarily for people new to running and are designed for anyone who can run 5km at any pace. Each week we look at a different type of interval training, including fartlec, short intervals, long intervals, and hills. The sessions are inclusive, so anyone can take part, if you are slower, you may do less reps, if you are faster you may do more.

     

  • Return of 10-mile Club - ideal for those targetting a spring marathon

  • Striders parkrun on Tour dates -

    • 12th April - Chris and Jenny Z's 500th parkrun (each!) at Blackpark
    • 3rd May - Milano Nord parkrun and Lake Como

  • Marlow to Henley, with G

    Bank Holiday Monday 5th May LSD - 18/19 mile slow pace run from Marlow to Henley Wetherspoons and brunch, then slow run back to Marlow 
    Beat the Sunset ultra training for us slow ones

     

  • Ashridge Bluebell Wonderland Run with Timea

    Meet at Aldbury Memorial Hall at 6.30pm for a 12.5km trail adventure to explore the beautiful bluebell trails around the Ashridge Estate. Park by the memorial hall/village green (HP23 5RR)

     

  • Rhododend-Run in Penn with Timea

    Meet at The Squirrel Pub in Penn Street at 6.30pm for a lovely 10km-ish trail run to visit the gorgeous rhododendrons in bloom. Stay for drinks at the pub after the run. Postcode for the pub is HP7 0PX. 

     

  • Herbert's Hole Poppy Run with Timea

    Meet at the Chiltern Velo Cafe in Hawridge Common at 9am for a lovely 10 mile trail run. Expect beautiful rolling trails and a huge poppy field at Herbert's Hole near Chesham. Park by the cafe (HP5 2UQ). Stay for coffee and cakes at the cafe afterwards! Please confirm your attendance at least 3 days prior so I can make sure the cafe has spaces for all of us wishing to stay for a drink and a bite after the run.

     

  • Stonor Sunflowers Run with Timea

    Meet at 9am in the Barn Cafe 'car park' in Turville Heath for a 10 mile trail adventure. Starting from Stonor Estate, we will make our way to the ruins of Bix Church and Warbourg Nature Reserve. We will have a 15 min stop at Stonor Farm to visit their huge sunflower field! We will finish our outing with brunch at the medieval Barn Cafe. Car park location map will be provided nearer the time (it's a short walk from the cafe, what3words code :monkeys.daffodils.shopping).

    Please confirm your attendance a week prior to the event as I will need to book table(s).
