Bluebells Social Run from The White Horse in Hedgerley
Thursday 17 April - meet at 18:45

For this Thursday’s Social Jenny Z will lead the 7km route and Mickey the 11km option.

Chris Z has been diligently recce-ing the pub beers and reports all good

For the runs, the routes are almost completely trail but assuming that we do not get a lot of rain between now and Thursday then people will get away with road shoes - there are just 2 patches of about 12 steps which are muddy.
And in terms of tick risk, I would call it low (I ran in normal length socks and insect repellent on legs) as there is very little grass etc overhanging the paths.
Obviously lots of roots, some brambles and uneven terrain - and even a tree trunk to get over on one path! But all manageable with care and attention.

People are also welcome to come along for a walk around bluebells in Church Wood and the pretty little village, then meet everyone back at the pub afterwards.
