We are pleased to announce entries for the Marlow Half Marathon and Marlow 7 on the 6th November 2022 are now open!
In addition to our established and ever popular Marlow Half Marathon, we will of course run our favourite Marlow 7 mile race again. Ideal if you’re not quite ready for the challenge of the half. The distance may be less, but make no mistake, you’ll be running in the same testing although rewarding landscape that has made the Marlow Half Marathon a classic.
Our race village location at Marlow Sports Club brings to you an enhanced race start experience in Marlow Town centre with great crowd support as you run up the High Street on the start of your journey.
Starting at 9:30am both races offer mile upon mile of good running on virtually traffic-free country lanes. Whether you choose the Half Marathon or the 7 miler, you will love our choice of route. Yes, the Chiltern Hills are challenging, yet the unfolding charm of this area of outstanding natural beauty will inspire you to run your best.
Organised by a running club for runners, we at Marlow Striders are proud to continue bringing you this great community event and fixture in the local running calendar. Our races are known for being well organised and enjoy great community support and atmosphere. You will find lots of our supportive and cheery marshals around the course, making your race that little bit easier.

To minimise the environmental impact of this year's event, we are not including a T-shirt, thus enabling us to significantly reduce our race entry fee.
However, recognising that many of our runners would like a commemorative T-Shirt we do have a number of our limited-edition T-Shirts available. These were designed during the pandemic and first marketed at our event in 2021. These are high quality, long-sleeved and show the course profiles of both our Half Marathon and the Marlow 7; they're perfect for winter running. At only £5 each, they're a "steal" and we expect them to sell out quickly… and as the saying goes, "once they're gone, they're gone". To get yours just add one at checkout when registering. Any T-Shirts purchased during registration will be available for collection on race day.
For event updates and future promotions, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest information.
We look forward to welcoming you on 6th November!
